What are Upsells?

Live event upsells are a valuable strategy for creators and businesses to consider in their offerings. These additional products or services, presented to customers after an initial purchase or event, provide an opportunity to deepen engagement and deliver enhanced value.


By proposing live workshops, sessions, or exclusive events as upsell options, businesses can cater to the desire for more immersive and personalised experiences.


Read this easy-to-follow guide on how to create Live Event Upsells on Exly in an efficient manner:


Step 1: On the Creator Tool page, scroll down to the Create/Edit Offering menu on the left side.

From the Live Offerings page, select the offering for which you want to create an upsell for.


Click on the three dot menu next to the Share button of the offering and select Manage Offering option.


From the screen that opens, select the Thank You Page & Upsells card.



Step 2: In the new that opens, you’ll see an option for Live Event Upsells. Click Manage Live Event Upsells.



Step 3: A pop up will open asking you to select an offering that you want to upsell. You can only upsell one offering through ‘Live Event Upsells’ and ‘Thank You’ page.


Step 4: Once the customer purchases the offering you’ve added the upsell to, this is what it will look like in the thank you page.
