A media library is an essential tool for creators and businesses to store, organise, and manage their digital assets such as images, videos, and graphics. Having a centralised repository offers several benefits. With all media files in one place, it becomes easy to locate and retrieve assets quickly, saving valuable time and effort.

By curating and cataloging these visual elements, you can seamlessly incorporate them into your marketing materials, social media posts, website, and other customer touch points, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand experience.

Read on as we walk you through the steps of creating your own Media Library on Exly.

Step 1: On the Creator Tool page, click on the Workflow Tools menu. From the drop down options, click on Media Library.

Step 2: If this is your first time adding any media here, you'll see an upload window with three options - Image, Video, and File. You will be able find the maximum size allowed as well as all supported formats.

  • To upload media from your local device, click on the button Upload button for the respective media type that you want to upload.

From the pop up, select the media items that you want to upload and click Open.

Step 3: You can upload video files, images or documents in your media library.

Each file that you upload can be renamed, downloaded or deleted by clicking on the three dot menu in bottom right of the media and selecting the respective action.

You can also perform bulk actions such as downloading or deleting media items in bulk, by selecting them choosing the respective action from the top.

Tip: You can also multi-select items using your Shift and Command keys on Mac.

You can also preview image and video media items by double-clicking on the media.

Step 4: You can search for a media item by their name or filter based on their media type, by selecting the respective filter in the search bar at the top.

Step 5: You can also change the orientation of these files and choose if you want to view them in a gallery or list manner.
